Siena Chanel Moran founded The Sexbook in February 2021 on Instagram as a way to provide inclusive and comprehensive sex education to bridge the gap in accurate information, resources, and sex positivity that high school sex education programs lack.
Alexis Denise Williams is really good friends with Siena and wanted to help out with her mission. In April 2021 she was thinking about website ideas for her Intro to Web Design final and thought that creating a website for the Sexbook would be the perfect task.
